Pop'n Bounce (known in Japanese materials as Gapporin) is a block-breaking action-puzzle game developed and released by Video System for arcades (using SNK's Neo Geo hardware) outside of Japan in 1997.
Similar to the Arkanoid series, players move a paddle (or "bar") at the bottom of the screen and attempt to clear the stage of all breakable blocks by bouncing a ball. It features a two-player versus mode and the "ATTACK" system for gaining multi-balls (by bouncing the ball on letters at the top of the playfield).
The game is also notable for its blocks, which represent one of numerous animals and other objects (including Rabio from Rabbit Punch), can stretch out to multiple tiles, and are color-coded (which allows them to combine at certain times).
It is one of the few games that, while running on Neo Geo hardware, did not receive a release on either the Neo Geo or Neo Geo CD. It is also the only game for the hardware to support dial controls.
In Pop'n Bounce players control a paddle at the bottom of the screen. The object is to keep a bouncing ball in play by hitting it with the paddle when the ball comes down to the bottom of the screen.
