Overview
Outer worlds is an action-adventure game developed by Mobius Digital Games and published by Annapurna Interactive. It released in 2019 for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, and Playstation 4. The gameplay consists of a 22-minute time loop that resets whenever the player dies (a guaranteed eventuality, as the sun will supernova after 22 minutes has elapsed). The player repeats the time loop many times throughout the game, gaining information in each loop that will help them solve puzzles and gain access to new areas and information. It received Giant Bomb’s Game of the Year award for 2019.
