Overview

Orbatak is a sci-fi fighting game developed and released by American Laser Games for arcades (using 3DO-based ALG CD-ROM hardware) in North America in 1995.

Using trackball controls, players take part in one-on-one matches where they crash their combatants (an "Orbite Warrior", rolled up into powered orbs) into each-other in an enclosed arena in order to either weaken them out of their orb form (which allows them to be crushed) or send them through a goal (which hurls them out of the arena).

A 3DO version was previewed, but never released.
