Dragon Ball: The Breakers is an asymmetrical multiplayer survival-action game developed by Dimps and published digitally by Bandai Namco for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on October 14, 2022.
Based on the Dragon Ball manga and anime series, The Breakers puts players in eight-player matches, with seven players as customizable under-powered civilians ("Survivors") taking on one player hunting them down as an iconic Dragon Ball villain ("Raider"). Similar to the studio's earlier Dragon Ball Heroes and Dragon Ball Xenoverse series, the game's overall concept and story involves temporal anomalies and time manipulation via the "Time Patrol".
Each team has their own set of objectives, with the Raider evolving their form and using their various super-powers to hunt down the Survivor players, and the Survivors attempting to either escape the area (usually by activating a Super Time Machine using Super Keys scattered throughout the map) or defeat the Raider (usually by temporarily transforming to iconic Dragon Ball heroes).
Summoning Shenron allows the player to either gain an Ultimate Dragon Change or increase the Dragon Change level of all allies.
Summoning Shenron allows the player to either increase their evolution level or restore their HP.
