Kotal Kahn
Kotal Kahn is the new Emperor of Outworld in Mortal Kombat X.
Overview
In the events of Mortal Kombat X, Kotal Kahn is the current Emperor of Outworld. He is of no relation to Shao Kahn.
Fighting Styles
- Blood God - Gains access to Crystal, Obsidian and Blood Totems.
- War God - "Macuahuilt" based special moves.
- Sun God - Two extra special moves known as Sun God Choke and Soul Scorch.

Mortal Kombat X

Kotal Kahn returns home to Outworld only to be taken by surprise by Raiden. To retaliate, Kotal calls upon the Elder Gods to aid his sovereignty. They accept his request and Kotal Kahn and the Outworlders must face off against Raiden and Earthrealm every decade in Mortal Kombat.
Mortal Kombat 11
- Non-canon
Defeated by Kotal, Kronika tries to tempt him, thus granting him an Osh-Tekk empire that expand past the far reaches the Outworld. Instead, Kotal kills her so as to not give into temptation. Since he is the Keeper of Time, many kombatants call out to Kotal to fix their problems with history, but the Kahn simply decides to let history go on as it is.
